Oars and Alps is a brand that Director Brecht Vanthof has been working with for years. They were recently acquired by Johnson and Johnson and since then their acquisition their brand underwent a redesign. They wanted to create content for their tribe, their brand that told their audience that there would be a change in packaging but not a change in the very ethos that makes Oars and Alps what it was. They offer natural men's care products that are built to withstand any endurance sport.
The psychology of this case study comes from understanding the type of brand Oars and Alps is as well as understanding the platforms this type of content is going to be viewed on. Making TikTok content is completely different from making content meant for cable or YouTube, so we spend time scripting and developing different types of ads so we can cater to each type of audience.
